About the project
The brief and the answer
“Translators of Meaning” are the ambassadors of the project — people whose influence reaches far beyond a single event or a single region, because they become the voice and the heart of the SHUM centre. So the brief was never to recap a programme: it was to show the people. The whole film is built around interaction and emotion — close-ups, a living set, the protagonists on colour cycloramas and in the places where they actually work. Full cycle: script, directing, filming in two studios and on location, editing, motion design and sound design.
