A motion film for the SHUM centre
A film that explains SHUM without words — and reads with the sound off
About the project
The brief and the answer
The SHUM centre came to us with a brief: “We want a film about ourselves — no archive, no shooting, no boredom, and it has to work with the sound off.” The goal was to show what the centre actually does. SHUM is an entire ecosystem, so we drew on the aesthetics of space: orbits in motion, elements connected to one another, the feeling of a large living environment. We committed to 2.5D motion graphics — fast, bright, with a character of their own. The result is a film that explains SHUM without a single word: who they are, what they do, and why there is so much movement around them.
