About the project
The brief and the answer
Dom Molodezhi 39 is a hub for the region’s talented, creative and self-starting young people. To make that a feeling rather than a claim, we shot the film as one continuous walk through the building: the camera steps through doors, dives into corridors, rises above the staircase and passes from hall to hall without ever letting go. Every space opens up along the way and is labelled right there in frame — the dance hall, the applied-crafts workshop, the “Barrels” hall, the media studio, the music studio, the art workshop, the “Lounge” career centre and the grand concert hall. Someone is already at work in each of them: dancing, drumming, skating down a mural-covered corridor, painting, filming. A second, handmade layer lives on top of the footage — CG titles, frame-by-frame animation and a collage built from the very people who appear on camera. It ends on the line “Use your potential to the full”.
