The brief and the answer
A short spot for the bar Drugoe Mesto. Fifteen seconds is exactly as long as it takes to catch the tone of a place, so we built them out of reactions. A waiter in a branded shirt speaks straight to camera about what is waiting for you here, while at a table a couple act out every one of his promises: she keeps a perfectly straight face, he yells with delight and throws his arms across half the sofa. All of it happens inside the room itself — trees under the ceiling, strings of bulbs, the blue glow of the wine rack, guests at their tables. It ends on the logo and a line that explains the place better than any description: “A bar. Food. Glug, glug, glug.”
