About the project

The brief and the answer

A brand film for the jewellery house DARVIN Jewelry. “An evolution of perfection” is about the fact that a piece of jewellery does not exist on its own: it is made by the person wearing it. So instead of a display case we shot four characters and gave each of them their own world. A dancer in a hall with windows across the whole wall — gold with amber: a flower ring, earrings, light passing through. A motorcyclist in a pine forest — a bracelet with the house’s pendant on a leather glove, the road, the helmet, speed. A skateboarder among graffiti — silver: a ring of stars, a fine chain with a star pendant. And a woman in an art gallery — a choker and earrings, the quiet of the rooms, the paintings. Between them run macro shots of the pieces themselves on dark fabric, filmed so that every facet of the amber and every link of the chain is visible. The film opens and closes on the brand’s logo.
